π Main Character Protection & Overlapping Ships π
Iβm very protective of my main characters. When it comes to ship overlaps with my "No Sharing", I handle it by muting or blocking accounts whose ships overlap with mine. If both of us are "No Sharing" and have an overlapping yume, I will block immediately. In other cases, whether I block or mute will depend on the situation and my personal comfort level. I donβt usually give prior notice when I do this.
If weβre mutuals, I will mute keywords instead and completely avoid any interaction with ships that clash with mine. This also includes avoiding interactions with OCs that are paired with the same canon I ship with, even if thereβs no canon couple officially involved.((I hope you understand me. I'm very attached to my mains and OCs, so seeing overlapping ships makes me uncomfortable. I truly apologize for that γ γ ))
If your ship overlaps with mine and you still wish to be friends, I kindly ask that you refrain from talking or interacting with that specific pairing around me. Apart from that, Iβd love to talk about mains, other topics, or be friends in general β₯
Please also avoid pushing interactions between my OC x canon pairings and other's. If you're also particular about your mains and feel uncomfortable about overlaps with my ships, youβre absolutely welcome to mute or block me too. I believe itβs better for both of us to have our own space.
I am also not comfortable with people who have the same yume commissioning the same artist as me (my non-sharing), even if it is only one OC. I usually commission the same artist regularly and would like to avoid overlapping commissions. If we are not familiar with each other, I can manage my own feelings. However, when it involves close friends or mutual followers, I may feel especially uncomfortable, as it can feel emotionally overwhelming to me. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, and I will also do my best to avoid overlapping yume commissions with people close to me.((This boundary comes from repeated negative experiences, particularly during my first year in the yume community, when I encountered criticism multiple times despite not being close to others or having any prior interaction. This affects me more deeply than it may appear γ γ )). You can message me to ask which artists Iβm not comfortable with you commissioning, since I donβt want us to use the same artist due to our yume overlapping.
